Brooke Butler heads the offices of Globaleyes and supports clients to bridge the gap between trade control requirements and the realities of international enterprise.

Ms. Butler has successfully conducted U.S. State Department mandated ITAR audits, supported companies through numerous successful voluntary disclosures, assisted with development and execution of corrective action plans for small scale problems to difficult Compliance Consent Agreements.

Through design and execution of an international supplier outreach program, Butler recently helped a multibillion dollar U.S. defense program reduce risk and strengthen its trade compliance environment.

Butler knows first-hand the business implications of Consent Agreements. Working for the General Counsel of Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Work, her assignment was to write and train on detailed compliance procedures as the result of a 17.5 Million dollar export fine levied against the company. Recruited to Lockheed Martin in 1995, she was part of a core team to implement corrective actions resulting from a 25 Million dollar fine. Over the next ten years with Lockheed Martin, Ms. Butler became the head of Export Licensing and Compliance for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 Program in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Prior to this position she also held roles in export compliance and corporate auditing within the company. Recognizing the increasingly vast need for export compliance know-how across the world of complex program execution, Ms. Butler founded Globaleyes in 2005.

Ms. Butler is also an adjunct professor with the University of Georgia Center for International Trade and Security. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Civil Business Litigation from the University of San Diego and earned her BA from Point Loma University, San Diego, USA.
