Job Description
Globaleyes is seeking a Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Manager skilled in trade regulations, compliance and licensing. Candidate must be versed in export control jurisdiction, classification and license determination.
The GTC Manager must also be able to accurately prepare Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and other license applications for import/export of defense articles and dual-use items.
Reporting to the Director of Global Trade Compliance, the GTC Manager will support various accounts and interface with clients on a daily basis. The GTC Manager will be expected to work independently to provide trade compliance and licensing support services to a wide variety of domestic and international customers.
The Global Trade Compliance GTC Manager will support multiple customers—providing services related to the export of commodities and technical data controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The GTC Manager will also act as a liaison between U.S. government officials and outside counsel, on issues as directed.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assessing customer requirements, assisting export control jurisdiction determination, preparing, filing and tracking license and agreement applications, drafting correspondence and helping with DDTC registration and D-Trade as needed.

Required Recent Experience
Candidate must have a minimum of 4-6 years of recent, hands-on trade compliance experience to include:
- License and Agreement Application Preparation (U.S. State and Commerce Department)
- Experience with State and Commerce jurisdiction and classification
- Detailed knowledge of export/import controls (e.g. ITAR, EAR, CGD, DECO)
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors
- Process and Procedure Design and Implementation
- Strong Written and Oral Communication
- Internal/External Auditing
- Mentoring
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Professional Skills Desired
- Current or prior legal, contract, engineering or project management experience
- Experience in multi-national defense programs (e.g., F-35 JSF)
- Trained and/or certified in lean thinking and process improvement
- Standard professional computer skills
Education Required
- Bachelors Degree
- Advanced degree desired
